I am very happy to announce that we will be integrating this new logo into our materials over the summer. This logo was create with the help of the talented graphic artist, George Susich from Susich Designs. George and I worked together to find an image that reflected what it is to walk the mourner's path and to best represent who we are as a ministry. It is anchored in an image reminiscent of a church window. Slightly rounded at the top incorporating the adobe style of the desert southwest where we are located. The window represents that the ministry is offered in faith communities and that participants have a window into their grief. The crosses are reminders that our work is continually centered in Christ's love for us and it is the love that heals those who walk the mourners path. The many different crosses both in size, depth, and color are a representation of all the ways that people grief and the many different paths that are taken. How it is not a straight path to healing and the uniqueness of each person's grief journey. The soft colors are to show that this work is sacred and that in the darkness of grief, shining through is in the light of Christ . I am grateful for the process of the design work and for George sharing his remarkable gift and faith with me and our community. Blessings, Catherine
