The heart of the Walking the Mourner’s Path Ministry is the Grief Support Session. For eight weeks, 8 to 10 participants meet for 90-minute sessions. A functional workbook and other materials offer questions for reflection and exercises that help participants define a new relationship with their loved one and to find God’s direction in their life. Session members share their experiences, their victories in the faith, and how God has entered their lives and is healing their pain. They learn that they are not alone on their Mourner’s Path. Each session is coordinated by two Mourner’s Path trained and certified facilitators as well as a member of the clergy.
